Tim Piganelli Invited to Speak at 2009 American Bar Association Annual TechShow

April 2, 2009

The ABA TechShow in Chicago, Illinois is one of the premiere national shows in the country and always presents a prestigious speaking panel. Each year, selected candidates must submit their presentations, as well as accompanying written materials, which are reviewed by a committee in order to be a presenter. This year Tim was asked by Judge Herbert Dixon, the litigation track chairman, to assist with those presentations.

We at LTC are very proud of Tim being recognized by the ABA. This committee had a field of consultants throughout the United States and Canada and chose Tim. Not only this year, but 8 of the last 12 years he has been chosen to be a presenter in the field of trial presentation and visual graphics.

Tim conducted two sessions during the TechShow. The first session was entitled “The Trial Tech Toolkit” in which he demonstrated the advantages of various trial presentation tools for different stages of trial.

The second session was entitled “Quiet on the Set: Star Power Courtroom Presentations”. In this session, Tim discussed presentation techniques that make evidence memorable to a layman jury.

As a result of the positive response from the American Bar Association and the TechShow audience, Tim has been invited to repeat the session entitled “Quiet on the Set: Star Power Courtroom Presentations” at the State Bar of New Mexico 2009 Annual Meeting . According to ABA committee members, the New Mexico State bar overwhelming chose Tim’s session to be repeated in New Mexico at their Bar meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico in Late July.
