Digital Trials - Presenting Evidence and Argument Using Technology in the Courtroom
How To Be the Ultimate Litigation Support Person
Celebrating its 20th year in 2006, ABA TECHSHOW brings to the legal community each year a broad range of learning opportunities as well as connecting technology venders with law firms. This year is no exception, with a full slate of over 50 worthwhile education and training sessions in 16 different tracks to choose from.
Among these are two offered by Tim Piganelli, a successful trial strategist, adjunct professor of law, and owner of Legal Technology Consulting, Inc. He will present seminars titled “Digital Trials: Presenting Evidence and Argument Using Technology in the Courtroom,” and “How to be the Ultimate Litigation Support Person.” Piganelli will share the podium in the first session with prominent trial attorney Bruce Olson, and the second with Prism Litigation Technology President, Mandi Ross. When asked about speaking at the ABA TECHSHOW, Mr. Olson said, “Whether we're collaborating at trial, or sharing our high tech trial experiences and war stories with the ABA TECHSHOW audience, it is always a pleasure to work with Tim. Together we have had great success over the years always using the latest and greatest in legal technology to manage complex litigation and to present our case in an organized and visually compelling way.”
The second presentation will focus on ways to maximize your efforts as part of the litigation support team in that very stressful environment. The session is co-presented by Blair Janis, of Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP.
Faculty selections for the ABA TECHSHOW are necessarily limited to a small number of experts in the legal technology field. Faculty members include subject-matter experts from many areas of legal technology, including practicing lawyers, legal IT personnel, legal technology consultants, and bar association advisors, among others. Please note that representatives of commercial vendors are rarely included in the CLE faculty, but opportunities are available for presentation of company- or product-specific sessions (see this year's Vendor Track)
